Body is in "good" condition and with minor work could be in excellent condition Completely finished and ready to drive. The car was driven 1 1/2 years as a commuter car at 80 miles per day (roundtrip) at 65+ mph on the freeway. Features: 16 Trojan T-145s (with less than 300 miles), 60 HP Curtis Controller / GE series wound motor combination, ceramic element heater, PC-40LV Todd DC-DC converter, original rabbit transmission (manual), Hella headlights and Hella headlight relays, E-meter, onboard Russco SC 30-120 SO charger, 12V Powersonic sealed rechargeable auxilliary battery, newer Michelin Rainforce MX4 tires, Eclipse 5441 CD-player and 4 Eclipse speakers with crossover boxes. The Russco onboard charger requires normal 120VAC (20A or 30A) and the charging cable plugs into the original gasoline port. The battery boxes in the back have hinged lids and Delrin battery hold-downs. With the lids closed there is a neatly carpeted and spacious false floor.
