Originally converted by Electric Vehicles NW in Seattle, in 1996. I purchased it a year and a half ago. Batteries were replaced in March, 2002 with 10 buddy pairs of Optima Yellowtops (all battery wiring redone with #2/0 cable at that time). Features include: * 120 volt DC system * Curtis 1231C 500 A max controller (just rebuilt with 2 year warranty) * ADC 8\" single shaft motor directly mated to original transmission * Clutchless 5 speed using original transmission * Sevcon Generation II DC/DC converter * 20 AH SLA accessory battery (2 6v in series) * Full set of 10 Rudman MK2 Regulators with RegBus interface (extra MK2 will be thrown it as a spare) * All wiring in place to support a Rudman PFC20 or PFC50 * Bohn 120v basic charger * Set of 10 Soneil 3 amp chargers, to help keep the batteries balanced and augment the Bohn charger * Custom battery heaters and insulation, keeps batteries around 80 degrees F * Converted AC space heater for cabin heat * Link-10 (new in Feb, 2003) * Power brake pump and reservoir

The car seats 4 adults comfortably, and can seat 3 kids in the back with two adults in the front (I've done it before). Other features:

* Sunroof * AM/FM/Cassette * Can go 75 mph on the freeway

Range is 20-25 miles on a charge, ideal for 2nd family car or short commuter car. I have full, detailed statistics on every cycle put on the batteries, if you are interested.

Over $4000 worth of new stuff put in since I purchased it.
